Hello, For chimney, You can do a simple agarbatti smoke test and see how the smoke moves and find the answer yourself that how will your smoke move out or in the kitchen. You can also use Exaust fan instead of chimney cause of window. For kitchen utility, You can try this.. see the reference image. In 'A' you will get more storage capacity. And in 'B' you will get a more space and basic storage capacity. You can make a breakfast counter by adding 450mm to the main platform. You can also try to move your window to the other wall. Thank you for the suggestion, that's the first time I've heard of magnetic track systems! They definitely seem like they'd add a modern feel but I'm not in love with having a track visible on the ceiling as it feels like that might draw the eye more so than a few recess lights. It seems like even if you use the track lighting you still need to position the magnetic light system to highlight certain locations of the kitchen, same as recess you just have a bit more flexibility with changing the placement. If you were to use track or recess lights in our kitchen, which features would you choose to place lights near?
