Need help choosing the kitchen cabinet color with counter top !
Comments (3)You are going to have to leave your comfort zone on this one. Walnut is "brown", you have "pink" as a counter top. I would suggest going with another version of the colours already in the room. you have gray/beige and white. I would hesitate going white...but it can be done. You can move into the grays and be very happy (it would look very modern) or you can move into a beige that holds a hint of pink in it (not pink...but a blush of warmth). Or you could go really wonky and add in something like a brushed stainless steel look to the cabinets and have it go "space age". There are specs of blue/gray in this counter top. The next think to look at is an "ashwood" or dark gray wood presentation that has some blue in it. It would lighten the space yet still add drama that dark cabinetry offers....See MorePlease help - Bathroom under-Sink cabinet
Comments (11)I suggest you follow the step-by-step guide for creating storage cabinets under the bathroom sink. Take proper measurements - Measure the available available space in height, width and height. Cut Plywood to size - With a circular saw and framing square, cut all the required pieces out. You can use a sliding compound saw as an alternative. Attach the base and sides - Start assembling the sink cabinets by placing the bottom piece of plywood sheet on a flat surface. Attach the back and top boards - Place the plywood sheet for the top part of the cabinet and attach wood screws to connect it to both the sides. Turn the back faces of the cabinet upwards. Keep the back piece over the structure and fix it into place with wood screws. Attach shelves - Place the cabinet in an upright position to install the shelves. Slide a shelf into the structure so it is flush against the back. Attach door - Keep both hinges of the door on the same side of the plywood sheet. Drill them using wood screws into place. Now keep the door over the cabinet structure, extend the hinges to one of the side panels and fix them to make them secure. Fix a hasp closure on the other side of the door, placing it in the center of the hinges....See Morehelp! help! confusion of colors and false ceiling
Comments (3)Hi Samata, You can go with the cornice ceiling if you have some other source of light in your room other wise you can go with cove lighting too if you don't have the specific source of light apart from this.Since the texture of the sides of the doors are dark so it would really goes better with dark shaded cornice ceiling style. Further it goes matching to your flooring design too. You can also add some finish to your wall like in the above ones to bring out a good look to your room or passages. As the colour of the cabinets matches with the flooring style too. i hope this will help !...See MoreKitchen backsplash and cabinets not matching
Comments (16)Priya, This is definitely NOT looking so odd that you have to change either the tiles/laminates. We understand your dilemma, it may be very diffcult to match colors of two different materials and finishes. To make you feel better, acrylics do fade a bit with use.. so eventually it might match as well :) As of now, you can add colors on the walls/ceiling/chimney remaining area. Get very good bold color handles. A kitchen rug, dado mounted racks and colored accessories for taking away the attention. Stickers recommend above may be good options. Do try to make sure you have cutlery tray near the hob, not suggested to miss function over symmetrical looks. If the last section is a sink it is very close to electric panels.
