I love your wallpaper (?) and those pillows with the dots look great in front of it! But I get the feeling that you have a lot of different styles in that room (traditional, pop-modern, ethnic) and the small pictures don't really add something. I suggest you gather them all on one wall, try to make that niche with the wallpaper the focal point of the room (can you center the sofa or the dining table in front of it?) and if possible, remove a couple of sconces...Do you really need them all?

No. If you really want a shower fixture, make sure there's a drain and a sloping floor (so no glass door or shower pan) and just hang a fixture on a reasonable sized piece of wall. And consider the costs, how long you planned on living there, will you use it for more than spraying plants or washing the dog, etc.

I moved to India in 2008 and had to relearn how to store food safely. These airtight plastic containers keep insects and humidity (mould/fungus) out of my dhals and spices. India cooking requires larger spice containers than shown in the above pictures. You can also get this same type of container in smaller sizes. Nice to have all of them in the same colour!! Makes the cupboard look tidy.

If the shower area is sufficiently big, I would prefer to opt for glass partition as that ensures that outside dry area does not get wet, which may happen in case of shower curtain. Having said that, I would opt for shower curtain if the shower area is small to avoid accidentally banging my elbow against the glass partition while taking shower and getting hurt.
