OSB board will do the trick. You need another photo for us to offer a species and finish. Natural finish (clear coat...water based polyurethane finish...NO oil modified) in a low gloss or satin finish on white oak with FLOOD LIGHTS will offer the same "look" as the poor photo. Beyond that, you will need a better photo.

A soft, warm grey shade would look lovely, and can be as dark or light as you want. A warmer shade will work with the brown stained wood floor, and the grey will complement the black granite. You could have an undertone of green, blue or tan if you didn't want a pure grey. And it would look nice with any silver metal hardware, either polished or satin/brushed, so you could choose pewter, chrome or nickel. It would still work with white trim too.

Hi, I would suggest changing the furniture fabric first and formost, go for a solid colour say white, offwhite, grey or even brown, and use colourful cushions which you may keep changing. A light yellow more like a dull yellow with wall accessories will look great on the walls. . For the flooring , please use wooden laminates and repolish the ceiling (as i see is a lovely wooden ceiling ) to a similar shade. Change the curtains to a breezy white curtains. Hello, Could you please mail me the exact measurement layout of the living room, kitchen and dry balcony area. I would suggest you to swipe the dining area with the living area as it will give an open space at the entrace. This will require a little bit of civil work if you are okay with that. Design Idea : The dining area can be made with wall mounted ledge on one side and 3 chairs on the other side. A 3seater sofa can be placed on the common wall between the kitchen and exisiting dining area with tv unit on the opposite side, this will restrain the view of the kitchen when guests visits.
