Need help for the interiors of my new house which is too small
Comments (12)That was a hard nut to crack! I've tried many options and this one had the most space. Downside is the bed has to go along the wall. There can be plenty of cabinets in there, but not a large dresser. It would be ideal if your bed could be raised, so you can have drawers/low cabinets underneath it for storage....See MoreDoor treatment
Comments (4)If the door is well painted I doubt if you will have a problem. A good coat of paint on wood work and wall surfaces is important if you have a lot of moisture in the room. If you can do some alterations to the space I would suggest you install an exhaust fan in the ceiling that vents moisture to the exterior, i.e. through the roof or side wall. Companies like Nu-tone and Broan make fans that have a moisture sensor that will kick on the fan while using the shower if you forget to turn it on. And these fans can be much more quiet than the typical bathroom fan. Some hundreds of dollars for the purchase and installation of this would be well worth it. I have seen bathroom ceilings covered with mold because the room has neither a neither a fan or window so you are right to be concerned....See MoreNeed help for my living room
Comments (33)Have you ever thought about floating shelves? I think pairing a few floating shelves together would look great and would free up space in your living room. I really like the Eugene floating shelf from Bryght and I think it would compliment your existing pieces. http://www.bryght.com/product/160/eugene-cocoa-shelf...See MoreHelp with sunroom off of kitchen
Comments (21)One option, I would get a very large rug so that all the chair legs and at least one corner of the sofa is on the rug. I think I would also bring the table set away from the window a little more. I think there is enough space to place the two-seater opposite the table in front of the window. or bring the table forward toward the kitchen ....... With the sofa centered to the large window. They probably will not be opposite each other, but at an angle which is still ok. They might seem more functional for the table set to be closer to the kitchen. Another option is two rugs in wide runners. Creating a walkway through the center of the room. Still thinking the sofa center of the right window. Just some ideas :-)...See MoreWindow Genius
