The answer is relative to your tastes. Try taking a sample of your paint with you while shopping, and see what you think: it sounds as though your room could handle some colour in the mid range to balance the high contrasts that are there already.

Kaur, A colonial look will suit this room. There is no limit to the changes that can be done. Ideally, you may need to draw some lines on your budget and requirements.

Hi @Aditya Somani. Before going with any color, you must take time and understand the tone you are looking for. Even if you consider on going grey, which is awesome; try to acknowledge the tone by warm palette or cool palette. The warm tone is recommended as it works more on the psychological level.
