I think you should stay with a simple pattern for draperies. Possibly a pattern incorporating the white trim and warm yellow walls. This would be soft and understated and something that you wouldn't get tired of easily. Other colors could be introduced with accessories.

There is so much you can do with the rug. You can go with a modern feel by bringing in metals, glass and creams with pops of orange or greens. You can go mid century modern by emphasizing the orange or even traditional with woods and beiges with hints of colors. If this was my starting point for a room that just needs to be cozy and comfortable, I would do a statement bed with darker wood. I would keep the curtains very light, and also the bedding. As there is creams in the carpet, I would steer clear of white, but use off white / beige for the bedding and curtains. Then I would use the orange and greens as accents in the room. Currently my living room color is Matt orange & ceiling wall is light beige. 1st Bedroom is dark and light yellow and 2nd bedroom is dark and light Green. All are Matt color & not glossy & all walls are TEXTURE walls excepting the ceiling (off course 1 wall is dark rest all are light). I need your help to know how do I plan it now which can compliment the existing color but i want a much lighter shade this time. My eyes on answer thanks :)
