It is evident that you are inclined towards softer finishes. The obvious challenge with softer finishes is that they require more care.

Duco may get scratched but so do all other materials only the degree of damage differs.

You can check for membrane finish shutters which can give you the design you are looking for. It is a tad better in terms of scratch resistance.

Another option is PU finish which is also better in terms of scratchabilty .
