Rugs, Corner Plants, Sideboards, Wider art light/gallery wall with no art light, floor to ceiling curtains, remove the clock, keep the curtain rod 6" below the ceiling and 3" off the floor. Always use full length curtains unless you have furniture below.

Cover the wall with beautiful wallpaper like 3d and you can cover this with curtains also

Add wallpaper on a wall , add rugs, sideboards and planters

Identify the right accent wall for the space and work on it !!!

Add grid mirrors, Hang light lamps,make the wall textured or even a chandelier will make the place look more aesthetic

One of our area rugs would tie this room together perfectly! I would also add a long mirror or plant in the far corner.

Since there is already some effort in making this space, try adding minimal additions to this space.

1. The wall behind the painting can have a wallpaper with traditional pattern or motifs. It could be very lovely.
2. Adding a large plant at the corner with a ceramic planter.
3. Try full height curtains to cover up the wall surface and make the window look larger.
