Door and Puja room Vastu

Please find attached by Home plan. It is a west facing plot. We are not sure if the Main door entrance is suitable as per Vastu. Also if the Vastu is to be calculated for the plot area or the home area. The current set up does not have a Pooja room. We need suggestions for a location for Puja room. The dimensions should be enough to accomodate two people while parying in. Appreciate all your help and suggestions. Thanks a lot.

West is the third option for entrance according to vastu

Pooja room can usually be accommodate easily.

Puja room should ideally be in your living room area, since there is no space you can opt for idol on the wall with compact shelves near the stairs. See this whisper quiet Luxury fan for a Puja room where people can pray in silence.

Hello Aditi, As an Interior Designer I keep few things in mind for vastu. God can face any direction except for North. And Headboard also should not be in North direction. Your earlier plan for puja place is also fine. You may also place it beside tv unit with nice jali door, facing south or west direction. Or in the kitchen at entrance with elevated on wall but you have to make the door sliding one.

Hi Akash, Puja / Mandir designs are an important part of homes. I presume the brickwall seen in foreground and part RCC wall is where you plan to have the cabinet. You can go with simple floating cabinet units at the bottom and to bring in a traditional touch hang lamps / diyas on the sides.

As per your inputs we suggest some ideas

-As per your plan you can plan a pooja room near the dinning table and outer side of the bedroom opposite to bedroom

This is mdf jali behind the front glass where om is written

and side glass where gayatri matra written with cutting

and and there is glass doors

It's a compact one and one person can sit and if you open it then in dinning room place also merged in this
