I have found a solution that is a permanent structure where you can twist open and close louvers so you can allow sunshine in, but lock it to block out rain. You should look for an architect, because even if you find a plan somewhere it has to fit the contours of your property. A local architect will be familiar with building codes and proper systems for your home as well.

I was diagnosed with dust mite allergy as a child and all my parents did was replace the carpet in the bedroom with hard flooring and replace the feather pillow with synthetic.
