You can spend more on the more formal spaces such as dining, living and drawing and go for cheaper flooring options for the bedrooms, bathrooms and balconies. Tip: It is best to appoint an interior designer or an architect if you are opting for different floors and they can guide you better with respect to the colours and combinations. Cons - Different types of flooring visually divide the space and make it look smaller than it actually is. Also, as rightly mentioned above, the wastage of material is more as compared to going for a single flooring type.
