Hi Suraj For a residence you can use 10-12 watt lighting fixtures. Although you can mix and match warm and bright lights, we would suggest you go for daylighting as recessed light fixtures and use another colour temperature for your decorative lighting fixtures (wall sconces or pendant lights).
