false celiling lights

how much watt lights to be put up on the false ceiling with an area of 312 square foot living room ? and can i mix up cool white with warm white colour lights in the same row please help i am confused..

Hi Suraj

For a residence you can use 10-12 watt lighting fixtures.

Although you can mix and match warm and bright lights, we would suggest you go for daylighting as recessed light fixtures and use another colour temperature for your decorative lighting fixtures (wall sconces or pendant lights).

HI Suraj,

You may need 50 - 60 watts for medium to bright lighting. If you are planning to have two different light temperature we would suggest to not mix them.

They could be operated with different switches but shouldn't be on at the same time.
