I want a door there (red rectangle area)
Comments (36)How do you decorate your place, what kind of style, colors, and feelings? That will greatly influence the type of door you might want. Also, think of your budget, and whether you want to install it yourself or hire a professional (you don't need to tell us, just keep that in mind). Then look around Houzz, in the products page, they have lots of interior sliding doors and hinged ones, from elegant frosted glass in a dark wood frame, to rustic reclaimed wood planks. You may not want to purchase that exact model, but it might give you a better idea of what would fulfill your airflow needs without sacrificing style....See MoreConcrete floor or tiles
Comments (2)I think that is more about what you like, concrete usually denotes a more modern feel, almost industrial if that is your style do concrete if not find a tile you love and do that....See MoreNeed help with concrete kitchen
Comments (3)Thanks Patricia and cpaul! I hadn't thought about glass. And I guess I should specify that a fully modular kitchen would not withstand the climate lol. The doors and Windows in General are traditionally made of teak wood and do warp somewhat but it's not a huge issue, so I fiured if all I am dealing with in the kitchen is the cabinet door it shouldn't be too hard to maintain. Here is the link if anyone is interested http://myphilippinelife.com/our-philippine-house-project-kitchen-cabinets/ I think it turned out quite nice :) . This was their starting and final result. there are more photos in the blog. They basically recommended some prefabricated cabinets and strong hinges and screws for the wood frame....See Morecost effective concrete ceiling
Comments (5)living/dining/kitchen it's an open layout like in one of the images. the ceiling is uneven so we are planning to get it fixed with re-plastering. I might not be able to get a skilled painter in my budget to get the textures right, so I thought by just applying a coat of cement I wouldn't need a very skilled worker and also get the industrial look....See MoreJuliet Docherty
