Probably needs a few pictures hahaha ! Also , retreating back 45 years probably isn't technically renovating , or do you want ideas to make it look 2050 ?
Hi there. Thank you for responding. Our main changes are we would like to move the kitchen to the rear 'living' area (southern end), lift the roof to the rear (new kitchen/dining) and deck area, extending the deck further north. Would like to create a hallway/entrance from the front doors going out to the new kitchen/ dining area building a wall to divide the existing front lounge area. I attach a front view of the house along with the existing area where kitchen is and also back area where it will be. I look forward to your thoughts and feedback
moved to and deck area. I hope this all makes sense
Probably best to contact an expert in working with tight budgets and mid-century modern homes. Feel free to check out my reviews. While I am based in Melbourne I have upcoming trips planned for South Australia in October, Sydney/Canberra in November to help owners of mid-century modern homes with pre-renovation design and building advice.
