Probably needs a few pictures hahaha ! Also , retreating back 45 years probably isn't technically renovating , or do you want ideas to make it look 2050 ?

Set the budget first. Allow some contingency.

Even a 1995 constructed home will probably have hidden problems somewhere.

Renovating to a chosen design style can work with some houses, on others it can be impossible without spending large amounts of money.

Hi there. Thank you for responding. Our main changes are we would like to move the kitchen to the rear 'living' area (southern end), lift the roof to the rear (new kitchen/dining) and deck area, extending the deck further north. Would like to create a hallway/entrance from the front doors going out to the new kitchen/ dining area building a wall to divide the existing front lounge area.
