Need help with ideas for re-modelling our Kitchen

Guess we will go for all-black for the cabinets: both below and above the counter; and put in a new counter-top that contrasts--maybe, a light coloured granite or slate. Examples for this color-scheme are in the ideabook...See Moreneed help to remodel drawing room

Comments (23)I think this piece is quite lovely. It appears that your couch and chairs have dark wood so I would be tempted to stain or paint the buffet to match these items. Changing the large modern handles to smaller antique ones might help to make it less bulky looking and tie in with the other items in your room.. You could look for a decorative detail that has more subtle style. As for placement, it might go on the short wall where you have a bench or even on the wall where you have your table with two chairs, one on each side to balance the look....See MoreKitchen remodel
Comments (2)Hey Katy! How about using large white tiles with or without spacers? You can use transition strips in brass between the hardwood and the tile and tie in the brass finish to the sink faucet and lights. ( That is if you want to change the lights! I think you should) and instead of using warm lights, go for natural white. in the 4000 - 4500 Kelvin range. and perhaps a fixture that gives more light to your room! If you would like, I can take this on as a small room redesign project! I hope this helps, and I look forward to hearing from you! Best Miloni The Yellow Cushion...See More- 5 years ago
