Good morning Wendi. Thank you for your query. The are all boxed beams except the central structural beam. The smaller beams coming down off the central beam are boxed with 1X8 knotty pine planks, and the central structural beam was simply covered with knotty pine planks as well to match (1x8's & 1x12's).
