The photo's a bit dark, so I can't quite tell your colors. Looks like you have all solid colors in the room: sort of a brick-colored upholstry, dark wood framing and cream walls, with plants outside the window. I think you need so 'pattern' to relieve the solids...at a minimum a tone-on-tone so that there is some texture or pattern involved. get close approximations of your existing colors (swatches, paint chips) and head off to the fabric store looking for something that doesn't feel overpowering, buy a yard and bring it home for trial and error -- you may end up with great pillow fabirc, or a new drape.

We initially planned to renovate our old home. But during the middle of renovation work, we changed our mindset to build a new one. Hence we made a house design by ourselves(3BHK) with the help of our local builder and to save the cost we tried to reuse all possible materials that were extracted while demolishing our old home((i.e.., like red tiles placed on the top of left side of porch). The project is in last phase, now I feel that still we could do something to enhance the beauty of exterior of home by getting some ideas from experts. We just finished the painting of primer coating, yet to paint the final color. The pic you posted with color looks awesome, planning to paint the same color. Hello ramarao, This is the outline furniture plan of your given layout. Some measurements needs to be rechecked. If you can do some structural changes like the door from the drawing room to some other room and few minor changes, we can plan it better.

Dear Mr. Maverick, Hope you are doing great. Seeing at your post its very clear that you are a passionate person and taking your designing process seriously. Also you are accepting that you are not a designer yourself which is a good gesture against those clients who think themselves superior when it comes to design choices but knows nothing in real. I agree with above replies to share some information about your house starting with the floor plans as without these no one would be able to help you in any way. Also you need to understand that designing is a subjective and time consuming process and doesn't happen in an instant. If its just about getting ideas then you can find millions on google search. But being on Houzz platform is a great thing as its full of many talented professionals contributing to the solutions best way possible.
