And I have a matson coffee table found here: http://www.plummers.com/living/accenttables/matson-i-coffee-table/3626 These two look really nice on carpet floors, which is when I had purchased these. Now, I have a new place, and planning to put hardwood floors, and really confused about what would look good even with an area rug added. The coffee table has really rich wood like grains, and I'm not able to wrap my head around what would be a nice color. I tend to really like dark walnut shades with mild distress, and enough grain variations that damages are not visible. But finally what you have to think or take help from interior designer is about the theme of your home as this door should also get aligned with your house theme. In general having hallway as part of home theatre is not advised so if you can change it, it would be better. But if you can't then at least install auto closure.
