How to Choose the Best Furniture For Bedroom?
Comments (2)I agree whole heartedly. I also agree on starting with the bed. The bed should be the "hero" of the room. Night stands are always needed, but even they do not need to match. Then figure out exactly what you NEED for storage in the bedroom. There is no rule that you have to own a dresser if you store all of your clothes in the closet. Will you have a TV in the room? How do you plan to view it? From a sitting area, in bed? A sideboard with storage or a media center may be a better choice for you. Do you have a seating area, or at least a chair you can sit on and tie youe shoes or put on socks. Buy furniture for your specific needs, buy the best quality for the work horse pieces you can afford. Don't forget lighting, and a mirror of some sort. Look at the photos of Master Bedrooms here on Houzz, you'll get an inspiration for mixing and maybe land on a style that appeals to you. Fall in love with a piece, the green tags show you where they came from, or ask the question. Have Fun!!...See Moregive me house descion advice

Comments (11)Hello Kayzad Shroff & Maria Leon! I'm designing my bedroom all by myself and now I want it to seem like I'm living among a rainforest. So I went for wooden times, veneer laminate wardrobes. The bed will be a platform bed so it'll be low to the ground. I'm now stuck with the ceiling and the wall opposite to the headboard. I thought of wall murals, but that particular wall has windows on the right side, so can't get the wall murals/wallpapers to give that Forest feel. So could you help with your suggestions?...See MoreWhich color doors suits best with the light beige flooring?
Comments (8)most colours would go with the light to neutral oak floor. A dark contrast wood panelled door would look great. someone here said that should be avoided. I feel a dark contrast, whether in wood, or a coloured paint would work very well. A painted panelled door (red, blue, green etc) with a wooden floor wood be a bold choice and will give the space a more European look....See Moreandituck
