sure take a picture of the entire house and send you, but only after a weeks time as i am going out of town. Also , please suggest as i need a kids room (we don't have right now)..so a design for the room that can be easily turned into a bedroom later. also a walk-in closet +a guest room +an entertainment room( all this apart for the kitchen and dinning and living space)

I have a question, why is it that this part of your space doesn't have a false ceiling and you have preferred to leave it exposed with all the conduits and cables? It looks as if, the space where you've given the false ceiling is a prime area which is just adjoining this place and anybody can have a peek into that area. If you have the cables running all over and over the edge of the vertical portion of the ceiling, you might as well leave the channels exposed, what difference does it make if the channels are exposed? If you're indeed particular about the ugliness created then I suggest, just cover it with a false ceiling after reconciling and re-routing all the cables and making appropriate openings for the cables to go to the desired places. You need to post a picture which shows the overall schematics for better advice, since I do not know what is the space planned for.

Let me put it in short,"I am looking for options that give modern facilities without leaving good things from old charm/ comforts. " Thanks for the straight forward comments. @Rock Doc: Are you addressing this to me? I haven't actually bought these tiles yet - when I do, I will definitely be going for the handmade ones. They're a work of art and irreplaceable in my opinion. However, there are also screen-printed tiles available in the market in more or less the same patterns; the workmanship is of course different, but you get them cheaper, and they're also more easily available. You could give that a shot. I'd recommend Aakaar Flooring Solutions - they're here on Houzz and are able to provide both the above-mentioned types.
