Hello Dopcam, Wall cabinets uptil ceiling will usually look bulky. Upper heights cabinets are not reachable for day to day use. The stuff stored there would gather dust and be visible when the doors are opened. Hello! I am trying to decide on a color of white for my kitchen cabinets that will not clash with the granite that is already there. I am painting the walls SW agreeable gray and if possible, would like to use the same color white for the cabinets and the trim in the house. This is a North facing room. Would SW Pure White clash with the brown in the granite? Thank you for any advice!

Hi, if you wish to experiment with colour you can combine a softer glossy green (to compliment the flooring) with bright yellow. Alternatively you can plan for opaque glass shutters for overhead cabinets and light glossy yellow for the base cabinets. Avoid using wood patterned/grains on shutters as it may turn the kitchen look dull.
