Any Advice on Asking your Kitchen Cabinet Maker for a Cost Adjustment?

Eight months and still the cabinets are missing and/or damaged and I am still without a functioning kitchen. I Designed and ordered the cabinets in November. I was told that they do not install cabinets, so hubby agreed to. Picked up the cabinets in December and over half of them were either broken, mis-sized or the wrong color. The associate designer I was working with left the company without a word to us. Three weeks of emails went unanswered and finally at my breaking point, I called the company and I reached a manager, who has been great. As he re-ordered cabinets and doors there are still issues, that now we wait through another delay. Also, just found out that the installation is complimentary, that was never offered to us. I spent over 11k on these cabinets. After all is said and done, how would I ask for an adjustment to alleviate the frustration, delay and chaos that has impacted our lives for months. Would it be insulting to ask for 15-20% adjustment?
