Generally you can do pretty much anything with a house if you have the time and money. with a limited budget it does limit what you can do especially for kitchen remodel costs. A kitchen renovation needs plumbing - where is it located in the garage now? Will you build your new kitchen etc on the existing concrete garage floor? @HU-92... Yes, you can place a hob anywhere on the platform and even on the left hand side platform. Check out the second sketch shared above, where the hob is on the island which is against the same wall as that of the fridge. The only thing you can check is that the Chimney exhaust pipe outlet should preferably be on the nearby wall such that the pipe can go straight and doesn’t have to be bent a lot. The outlet is given on the exterior wall, so it is always best to put the hob on a platform such that the exhaust pipe doesn’t have to travel a lot till the outlet. If you keep the hob against the left side 11ft wall, then you can have the outlet up on the same wall or on the 7-1/2 ft wall(whichever is exterior wall). Hope you got my point. Regards SF
