Hi again- I'm an Aussie and the term 'wood burner' means a metal box with a glass door on the front and in the situation where you have a 'double sided wood burner' that means two glass doors on each end. A wood burning fireplace open either side between two rooms is a different thing. Sorry about the confusion. I looked into building one of those in brick and was strongly advised to place a glass panel on one side ( as Ironwood has pointed out) the natural draughts that move through your home will take the smoke with it. A piece of glass will prevent this from happening.

Ok thanks. After SE extention 1. NE was cut 2. SW was cut 3. water tank above toilet in center of east. 1. NE cut - Just make a shed/pargola of same height as bathroom... put 4 poles beside staircase and put up a tin shed. 2. SW cut... build a store room with 4 poles, tin shed, wall of plywood or/else any material you can afford. Door from east work area. Or door preferably from inside the bedroom. This is the bedroom in SW corner which head of the family or bread earner should occupy. 3. Water tank and toilet is not causing much problem due to height. However; I am not sure if thats exact center of your whole plot. Doesnt seem so. If anyone living there facing litigations, financial troubles or unnecessary authority problems... Just pay 500rs to a known good vastu consultant and amend accordingly. Its not practical to advise seeing pictures only, there are many things to consider. Thanks

Hi Anisha, Here are a few suggestions that may help you - 1] If you can try shifting the main entry door to the left and the bathroom door also towards the left end of the bathroom. This way you will get a walk in closet which will not take away from the bedroom space. Dark Blue - Loose chairs and coffee table Dark Green - Study Mauve - TV Console Yellow - Rocking chair and floor lamp Red - Wardrobes Orange - Dressing Table Light Green - Safes Lavender - Bathroom layout You can increase the dressing space if you can compromise on the bedroom area. 2] If you cannot shift much, just bring the bathroom door to the centre of the bathroom wall right in front on the main entry door. This way you will get a niche on the right hand side of the main entry. It is advice able to provide a dressing unit here, with proximity to the bathroom since you will use it the minute you step out of the shower.
