OK... but the wire wont be lower as it is fixed now. The wire in the pics below is the wall facing each other. They were leveled on equal height but the beam on one wall makes it seem a little above. But i think you guys are absolutely right that up and down lights wont look good there. I think you are right about down lights lessismoore. Would it look good if i go with two different lights on opposite walls??? it would look odd right.

Thanks for all of your attention . yes Mark, I have already hired an Architect, but I want more experimental Ideas. Previous information may not be enough, Now I am trying to provide some details. 1)This going to be a part of the first floor of a duplex. 2)Geographical position: Eastern part of India,( near Kolkata),150 km from Bay of Bengal ,semi urban,Temperature: 10-35 centigrade 3)The six column(10"*12") location have been indicated on the previous picture by red. 4)Another picture showing rough floor plan I am attaching. 5)Preferences: i)Enough sun light in the room.probably from east ii)No overhead beam above Bed iii)BEDROOM: Personal small space for Study(separate room not required for study),sofa(62"*28"),a wardrobe (72"*22") and a king size bed with two side tables, these are all for my bedroom. iv) BATH: bathtub is enough, no shower space separately required. single washbasin. v)a small space for vanity. There after I am attaching some picture of bedroom, bath and vanity which may give u some idea about my preferences. EVERYONE IS WELCOMED WITH THERE IDEAS,THANKS A LOT IN ADVANCE.

You should better go for a natural garden instead of an artificial one!! You really have a very good space to work on ! U can have a mdf wall panel (jaali work) like around 4'x8' installed on the main wall, lit artificially from the rear side. Then a row of planters sown at a ht of 2'.. then a l-shaped seater across it! either side step cabinets must be altered, a low king side bed with storage would be ideal here. even ur metal cupboard once get into the wooden cabinet the space above the cupboards can be closed like a easy loft till the ceiling. so all the clutter n stuff either in loft or bed storage and some in newly altered cabinets.. then comes overall enhancement, like proper curtains with hooks. and clean interior to enhance like cushion or rugs and most importantly some artworks. corner can be lite with a floor lamp..lot more area to play. thanks shradha shah beescheese design
