Ashish, The workmanship seems to be an issue with your stone cladding wall. Interlock joints are visible and dirty. This needs to be thoroughly cleaned and grey cement will need color touch ups. Some people go for a lacquer polish to enhance the look of the stones. However, it is equally repulsive for some people who like natural finish. If you are painting the walls purple, use a neutral in the rest of the room - white furniture goes best with purple, and keep the bed wear neutral as well, or the colors will clash!

I think you can opt for yellow, TV areas..... but do circle the door... DB area wall paper would be a good idea...
