Not much to go on. A drawing/floor plan to show where windows, doors, and such are in the space... and what connects to this space? You say first floor, so where are the stairs? Two rooms... what are each of the rooms to be used for? (Kitchen, living room, dining room, a bedroom, an office.... what?)

More information is needed: How will it be used? What is the view and where? Who will be using it? How many people? Pets? What is your preference of materials? A truly good design address all these issues and more in the programming aspect of the design process. Although hiring a local professional would be great, you can certainly work with a designer via emails, Skype, etc. Good luck.

"Good", "durable", "all time fashionable" = solid hardwood. of course, you didn't mention anything more than that. So we have to offer what we have. Hardwood out lasts tile by 50 years. Tile is the next 'toughest'. Of course "stone" will outlast everything...but you don't mention what you want it for.

Hello Neetu Singh, This is my idea to increase the width of your house plan lobby.1.Exchange the positions of kitchen(8'.0" x 12'.0") and small bedroom(8'.4.5" x 11'.9"). 2. Exchange washroom and pooja room positions too and open the pooja place, this will make the lobby more spacious and welcoming as this(pooja area) will be in front of main door entrance(As mentioned in my plan). 3.
