Master Closet Design HELP?

The larger side will be the woman's side and smaller section is mans. We are thinking a larger full length mirror on wall that separates the sides and a seat under the window to sit and put shoes on. We hang a lot and don't really

want a ton of drawers. We both have boots and lots of shoes.

This is a much larger design problem than can be answered online, unfortunately. To really design a closet well, you really have to take inventory of all the items you plan to store in there: exact number of shoes/boots, handbags, long hanging vs. short hanging, drawer space, hamper space, etc. If you have a Container Store, California Closets, or similar in your area, bring the plans with you and they can design it for you for free. Make sure you bring your inventory with you. If this isn't an option for you, I believe Closet Maid has an online tool you can use to design it yourself. Then you can buy the pieces at Lowes or Home Depot and have your contractor install them.

A good master closet is less about size and more about how well organized it is. With a closet this large, I would find a local closet designer that specializes in this sort of thing. It may seem like an extra cost, but it is well worth it.

I currently have the same problem! I wanted that but the tiler didn't do it. I saw it after the shower was finished tiling (when I got home from work). They told me it was too difficult to cut the porcelain tile in a triangle shape and install. I did some research and I can't find a product that can hold weight, even if it is just to shave my leg! I suppose I should have had a triangle corner with a base (that wasn't floating) but I think it is too late. Hopefully someone can tell both of us a better answer. Just realize this was posted July 2014....... where you able to solve the problem??????

If you want some natural light you could run some transom windows across the top of the bedroom wall but there are lots of bathrooms that have no natural light and are lovely.

Please let me know if I have understood you correctly. From what I have understood you are looking to place the bed on the window wall. If yes, then it won't be a good sight every morning that you wake up to see your bathroom door. If the dresser isn't a fixed niche you could swing your bed between the two dresser slots. That way when you walk into the room, it will make an impressive entry. Think about it! Regards.
