From the drawing it looks like you have some free space after the base cabinets. How much it is off the centre of the kitchen?

Could you provide the measurements and the reason for having it slightly towards left side.

I thought I could avoid cabinets just besides chimney.... And have a continuous overhead cabinets on right side...... I thought predominantly I will work at left side as my pantry with be close.... Leaving right side free.... Mover there's a dining exactly opposite to this counter... Space is huge..Shall I add breakfast counter.... Or just leave.

breakfast counter would add aesthetic and functional value! please go ahead after accessing the availability of space in dining.

about the hob and chimney if you are saying it's fine then fine..but advice you to discuss with your better half also on this as most often they spend more time in kitchen and should suite their way of functioning

in kitchen profile handles in lower cabinets and in upper cabinets normal good design handles with look gud

Eccentrically placed hob & chimney will only look great if you eliminate the left overhead storage, and then place the chimney at the center of the remainder wall space, after the right overhead cabinet ends.

There must be equal blank space on the left and right of the chimney and the overhead cabinets.

Place the hob directly under the chimney, and make sure that you provide a duct in the back wall if its an exterior one.

Sink in front of the window will look great.

A breakfast bar island with some storage drawers under should be fine, but provide comfortable high stools so that people can chill there a bit longer:)

Tq guys.... One more question... If my lower cabinet s are maroon.... My back splash off white... Wats ideal colour for counter top granite ... I saw a beautiful seagreen artificial Marbel... Will it go...

Can I put artificial seagreen color Marbel countertop if my cabinets below are going to be maroon....

acc to ur kitchen cabinet pic, I would request u to get stone ( kadapa ) vertical base frame and on top before granite fitting and then wooden panel can be done for drawers n shelves. this will eliminate wood to get wet and start to fall apart. looking forward to modular version need to know it last few years only. wherever water is concerned only wooden panels won't work for longer n steady use. for counter tables or side working space that will work but not where the sink will be placed.

then decide on colours, ya green marble is also a nice option.

Wow ! are you sure its meant for a kitchen slab ? Whats the exact product name the vendor gave you?

Sea green looks cool and with maroon laminate would look great. But not so much with the brownish cream back-splash tiles.

It's seagreen artificial. Marble.... Is it good for Indian cooking.... Like am confused if it can bear our heat.... N stains... Dealer is suggesting it for countertop

You may request a small 'unpolished' sample and put it to stain/heat test. See how it fares. Request them to show a previous installation.
