thank you for the options people... i was trying to think a bit of a contrast flooring .... slightly more browner ... ?? What say all of you ? also need the floor to have some texturing dont like absolutely smooth wood will make it feel like paper...

you can give some live colour to walls, can put beautiful wall paintings and some indoor plants give peace to house , beautiful designer lights , textured paint .... all of these will help to give attractive look to your corridor.

It totally depends upon your interior theme. Now a days polished cement floor is in as it gives quite a raw look and you can go for some combination of glass mosaics with it. Else you have so many options readily available in the market.
