And I have a matson coffee table found here: http://www.plummers.com/living/accenttables/matson-i-coffee-table/3626 These two look really nice on carpet floors, which is when I had purchased these. Now, I have a new place, and planning to put hardwood floors, and really confused about what would look good even with an area rug added. The coffee table has really rich wood like grains, and I'm not able to wrap my head around what would be a nice color. I tend to really like dark walnut shades with mild distress, and enough grain variations that damages are not visible. A soft, warm grey shade would look lovely, and can be as dark or light as you want. A warmer shade will work with the brown stained wood floor, and the grey will complement the black granite. You could have an undertone of green, blue or tan if you didn't want a pure grey.
