@HU-563441043. Thanks for your suggestion. Little late for the ceiling light now, I just got battery operated round leds installed in each box. It works with remote, can get dim and with timer. So very cool. I am surely going for metallic border now. I really liked that idea. All the stuff that is there will go out and I will put some showpieces. I am also thinking of, rather than getting color laminates at the back, covering the leds with solid colored see thru plastic sheet (mostly used for gift wrapping). That ways I can highlight few boxes with reds, greens blues. Tried red and it looked something

Yes your right Abhisek it does look a little dull coz the walls are bare and nothing is put together. Once you put up the curtains and add some cushions and a coffee table and place some of ur personal decorative things everything will look put together. Looking at the pic I feel like u want a neutral colour palette so depending on that yes u can go for cream or very light hues of brown like beige or even some pastel colours will look very nice. U don’t have to match everything exactly same colour but try and stay in the same colour with different shades. You can also add one piece of contrast to add that pop of colour so it doesn’t look too pale. Maybe u can try and rearrange ur furniture if possible coz ur sofa seems to be quite far from the tv unit....it’s not necessary to leave the entire passage going to the balcony open...I think u can pull ur sofa a bit closer. I hope am making some sense. 😄 try and add a patterned curtain since rest everything is plain. Attaching a pic for ur reference hope it helps.

Its just really messy right now. Too many colours and clashing prints. Is that Puja unit lime green? Or does it just appear that way because of lighting? Either way, it stands out like one more distraction. Pick one base colour add and add prints that go with that base. That TV unit HAS to go. So do that black metal coffee table and the carpet. I would suggest you go with a simple geometric print in the carpet. But apart from these obvious design gaffes, the structure has distinct possibilities, if you do a classic English style.
