Depending on the budget, you could hack a portion of the wall "closed welcome passage" and put up a wall horizontally by the main entrance (creating a passage way to the living area. The window there should be able to shine a bit of light into the house. Replacing the wall between the living area and garage with Large glass panels would also help brighten up the house. I think that you should increase you drawing room area and reduce the bedroom area if you place the bed on south east side it will be possible

Another idea would be to draw the floorplan in scale on a piece of paper. Draw basic furniture on another paper and cut them out. Play with the furniture to see what could work for your family. Imagine yourself walking around in it (about 90cm wide walkways) and doing your daily business (hobbies and such). Also think about the sun shining in. And meanwhile create some ideabooks on here with styles and interiors you like. Use as many searchword combinations as you can come up with. Good luck!

Are you able to move the bathrooms? I would suggest moving it to the middle of the house and making it just one common bathroom to share or a jack and jill bathroom. if you are able ot move this in to the interior wall it would give more light in to the bedrooms.
