You can use natural stone like marble for floor but do not use granite for floor at all as it is very slippery when wet. As for tiles do not go for glazed vitrified tiles for the floor for the same reason. ( floor becomes slippery once wet and may cause mishap) Go for ceramic anti skid tiles that are specially meant for bathroom floor. For wall tiles you can use whatever you like and then decide over the matching anti skid floor tile/ marble. Double charged vitrified tiles are usually used for flooring in rest of the house.

Hello there, You could scoop them out with a flat trowel and scrap cement backing with that as well. But it won't be much of a success and you will lose around 30-40 %. You could DIY broken tiles mosaics as an art ; frame and fix it on the wall itself with an appropriate glue. Or search for other DIYs on youtube. You could replace them with decals as described @cornerstone studio , but there's a catch ; high heat areas could deform and de-glue the decals as well. Hi Shivam, I hope you are doing good. There is no particular tile size that may look good as it completely depend kind of design you have in your perspective. If you are looking at more traditional interiors then generally smaller tiles with motifs or emblems look good which have a representative geometrical or floral patterns. If you are looking at more modern interiors then generally bigger tile sizes are preferred for clean look less joints.  Regards, deSigneR
