The toilet flush in our house gets again and again repair and water does not comes. when asked plumber,he said that when overhead water tank becomes empty without water in it, the flush will be blocked with air and so water does not come in it.(the same we are facing with water heater/geyser). as we go out of station frequently, the overhead water tank will get empty. Marble is a very soft stone and requires some expertise to refinish. My only recommendation is to NEVER use a steam cleaner on your floors! It will remove all sheen and then you'll definitely need to have them professionally finished and sealed to protect them.
