There is contrast between the traditional furniture and the focal point of the floor which pops, draws attention. I would recover the sofas in cream colored soft fabric - suede. I would leave the curtains grey, and put down a large neutral area rug. The edges of the room would show the pattern of the floor. I would color the wall and add texture to it, but not too dark as the room will appear smaller. Add a picture and put a nice plant holder, large vase in the left corner of the room - an oriental-style vase. Or, a cream-stripe fabric on the sofas. You could go soft or bold in this room - depending on your taste.

Square, round or flat sections may be used in designing the grill as per the requirement and design. However, it is not rust resistant and needs frequent painting to protect it. The advantage of using wrought iron is that you can achieve a colonial look with a variety of designs it has to offer. But these come at a cost. Mild steel is a widely used material when it comes to window grills. It is both strong and durable and offers flexibility in design. But like other iron objects, it too possesses the susceptibility to rust. Hence, a regular touch up of paint is required for maintenance. Hi Zainaba, You may go for both American pleat curtains as well as roman cloth blinds for your window. 1] American Pleat Curtains These look lovely and add elegance and grace but have a tendency to "fly" with air circulation in the room. You can provide a weight chain to solve this issue. Also avoid giving lining to these curtains. Some of them such as linen and cotton curtains tend to shrink after being washed and their polyester/satin lining does not. In the process you may lose the shape of the curtain. Best to stitch the curtain and the black out lining separately and provide a two track curtain.Also keep the curtains length more than that of the window so that its bottom gets tucked in behind the bed back/headboard. It looks neater that way. Also, these can be easily removed and washed at home. 2] Roman Blinds Roman blinds are a neater option as far as window shades are concerned. The look graceful and showcase the fabric, its print and its make way better than the american pleat curtains. That explains his opinion. Your description until now was for outlay doors. Slideline 16 is capable for 50-60 kg and 18-24 mm doors only. As I said earlier, not a big fan of bottom running sliding systems. Hope it works fine for you. Steel decorative strip is possible . But avoid deep cuts on the door that would increase the chances of bend/warp.
