Fairy lights alternative?

Has anyone thought of a good alternative to fairy lights? These lights are great to decorate, but don't last long and consume a lot of energy, I've always used these to decorate, inside a bottle, around my mirror etc like in the photo I found here (inserted below). Would be great if anyone had a take on a good replacement! Thank you!

I guess u have sufficient lighting ....instead of more light I suggest to have little greenery for an scenic approach.

Hi Simran, I totally agree with you. The string lights are beautiful but do not last long. You can use lanterns instead, they look equally stunning. Try getting some in geometric shapes or paper lanterns. If you're still hooked up to the typical string lights, you may go ahead with battery powered LED string lights. A little pricey but worth every penny! Hope you enjoy lighting up the place :)

You can opt for the frame work of solid wood or waterproof plywood , polish it , can install lights at cross section , I don't know about the size and shape of your room . This way you can have ceiling fan also at the location you want . Easy and simple solution. will look elegant as well

Romney, First thing is that requirement of light is measured in lumens. Secondly , you will have to look at the room requirements , colors on the wall, furniture, flooring etc. Even the temperature (i.e. warm or cool) of the lights is very important. Hello there, If you're thinking of glass, go for an ACP in mirror finish. It's easier to install. Put 2-3 shades of mirrored finish and create a geomteric pattern on the ceiling. Put some pendant lights and you're good to go. Second, to cover up the grill use a cladding (ACP/ Wood) for framing the window and put a good netural white toned sheer curtain for diffused lighting. To introduce more illumination, paste a floor to ceiling mirror 3' wide on the wardrobe. It will work as a vanity mirror too. Regards, Aurum Ideas and Spaces Bhubaneswar

There are lots of self adhesive wall papers with lot of good design n sizes u can stick them over it no need of professional help but try to get waterproof or the one u can wipe it with wet cloth some of the available on Amazon n cheap way of remodeling ur furniture look... I hope this can solve ur problem

Hi Simran, you can try fairy lights operated with a kind of water activated battery which contains large capacity. One battery can keep the 100 led fairy lights lighting for more than 300 hours. This is energy saving and environmental friendly.
