How tall are your posts? Systems that are 36" high will need 11 strands of cable, so for 35 linear feet that would total at least 385ft of cable. For a 42" system, you would need 13 strands of cable, so at least 455ft of cable total. Either way, this kit has more than enough cable.

As for fittings, 50 sets should be enough so long your cable runs continuously through more than one section. If the 5 sections you mention are all separate, however, then you would need 55 or 65 sets depending on if it's a 36" or 42" system.

Considering the specifics of your project and its inclusion of stair sections, it might be best to give us a call at (971) 340-2730. Our estimators can make sure you order exactly what you need. You could also take a look at our smaller kits or visit our website for a-la-cart items, unless you don't mind all the extra cable you'd have with this kit.

Thank you for your interest! Let us know if you have any other questions!
