This chair says the height is 42.5", is that where the chair seat is or the top of the back of the chair? My space from the ground to the bar top is 42.5"-so I'm wondering what height stool I need?
Hello, thanks for your question. The defining difference is height. Bar height designs are slightly higher, typically featuring seat heights of 30" to 32". Counter height stools are generally 24" to 26" high. Plan on leaving 8" to 12" of leg room between the seat and the bottom of your table for maximum comfort.
The Avenue Counter Stool is 42.5 inches in overall height, to the top of the backrest. The seat height is 26 inches. This is meant for use at standard counter height.
