Very interesting. I have never thought of staining parquet flooring dark. It adds a modern touch to a classic design element. Good job!

Actually this type of granite when we are using flooring light different will come and you are using ordinary cement instead of white cement so that different is more so leave as it is you can do one thing if laying person is expert ask him to do buffing it will gives shinning only not polish

Looks great. I have seen some older homes with this flooring and thought it would only be good to rip out. Nice alternative.
