Comments (31)Dear Crazyjunglite, please let me add some ideas for your space. I beleive that a nice combination of two curtains like the one with the blue and peach double curtains in the picture, will give you an eclectic feeling that matches to your painting. The combination of colors that I suggest is this blue with brown flares and the cream-peach taffetas, and the soft cream sheer behind. It will join all the rest beautiful items suggested by now: https://www.etsy.com/listing/163787105/blue-curtain-polyester-fabric-122-inches?ref=shop_home_active https://www.etsy.com/listing/163785041/light-yellow-beige-curtain-polyester?ref=related-6 https://www.etsy.com/listing/167660815/35-discount-for-one-pair-of-two-beige?ref=listing-shop-header-1 https://www.etsy.com/listing/167363693/ecru-sheer-curtains-fabric-118-inches?ref=shop_home_active...See MoreNeed help with my living room
Comments (138)Leather sofas can really dominate the room and can give an overall cold feeling. I would add some earthy elements, like a wood coffee table with glass or metal. Go to Restoration Hardware's website and look at their sofa room scenes. And I'm sorry I think the art is too harsh for the room. That's all your eye goes to in the room. too overpowering. I would look for something softer or maybe a cool mirror and I would add color to the room with pillows and some colorful lamps. I also think woven blinds would look great. They add warmth and give a finished look. The color of your window treatments should contrast your wall color a bit, not match it or else it starts to look generic and blah.. You have warm walls, warm floors and the woven blinds, like Hunter Douglas brand would pull it all together for you....See MoreBeige Color scheme
Comments (9)Hi, It is really good that you have a lot of neutral shades in your living room. They never go out of trend as they are comforting to the eye. They also give the freedom to play with colour when it comes to cushions, rugs and other decor items. Here are a few colour pallets you can choose from in order to complete the look - You may either warm it up in this way: Or cool it down like this: Or use a combination of the two: Be wary of the fact that striking colours have a major impact on the space hence, choose wisely. Repeat colours here and there - in a curio or a cushion, in a rug and a painting etc. That way the space will look cohesive. Hope this helps you. All the best! Comments (5)Hello Arthantar, If you’re planning to arrange the room with the existing pieces only then I would suggest you to: Take the bed off from the room and instead place the tall Study Unit on this wall Place the single sofa chair opposite to the door facing towards the L shape sofa Place the triangular furniture unit at the corner and use it for puja space. Place the old wooden seating in place of that tall study unit...See Moreabick2
