Have you thought of using wall vinyl to add some expression to your room? It really does add that little bit of character and warmth, and can always be removed without damaging the walls. I beleive that a nice combination of two curtains like the one with the blue and peach double curtains in the picture, will give you an eclectic feeling that matches to your painting. Namrata, If your intention is to let the light in and yet maintain the privacy then vertical blinds would be one of the good functional solutions. See the attached image for your reference. Note in your pic at this angle it looks like the TV unit ledges have been taken to the far end of the window wall. This shall pose issues with your curtains/blinds as well.
