Small bathroom renovation advice.
Comments (8)I disagree with the advice above, the bathroom door that is in the passage should be closed. The reason for this is that you already have a bedroom without an attached bathroom. If you go by the advice above you will then have two bedrooms without an attached bathroom. Its not ideal. Also, you havent told us for which uses are the other two bedrooms. Are there going to be old parents in the bedroom with the bathroom or kids or are you going to use this as a guest bedroom? If you close the door in the passage you can have a bigger vanity by moving the WC behind the door that is from the bedroom side. This is also good because you should never have a bathroom door with a view of the WC. The WC is a very private spot and there shouldnt be a direct view of it from the room. Also we tend to spend more time sitting on the potty than washing hands, looking at ourselves or taking a bath. Once you move the WC you can have the vanity extending till the wall and will be 2.5x bigger than what you currently have....See Moremeasurements of the quartz top for vanity
Comments (14)hi Rahul, you need 3 by 3 sq feet space for wc, as per layout you are getting it. i suggest you to avoid mirror in front of wc, as nobody wants to see themselves in that condition seeing themselves. also, door should open on other side so it will hide the wc. Your washbasin should be in right of counter as it give you more space to use for placing your things like trimming machine etc. for quartz go for mitter edge as it look thick without any extra line, which is most preferred today by Designers today. please prefer glass partition between washbasin and shower, as to segregate wet and dry area. and if you want to ask anything further or discuss about your design. thanks, Archiera Design, Delhi...See Morebathroom vanity
Comments (8)also, avoid veneer in bathrooms as Veneer sheets are softer than laminate sheets. Once the polish layer wears off over time, the veneer becomes susceptible to abrasions. The veneer sheet may bubble or warp if moisture seeps into the core material or if the top layer is exposed to heat. So they are not great options for kitchens, bathrooms and other wet areas....See MoreWhat is the right height for a counter top sink from the floor
