Campbell Kitchen Transformation: From Tight & Cramped to Open and Airy

Maximizing a kitchen's full potential lies in the ability to take advantage of every inch of available space while minimizing clutter. This kitchen was transformed from tight and cramped to an open and airy space fit for a growing family. We updated and rearranged appliances which allowed for additional counter space and shelving.       The cabinets are number 1 select clear red oak with a mid-range stain. These are full custom cabinets made by Authentic Cabinetry in Campbell, CA.

      Sometimes oak can look dated, but these are some of my favorite cabinets of any species. The shaker style with the tight grain oak is great. Here is another project we did that is similar. They work really well with soapstone.
