Give search for home theatre door in houzz and it will give you a few ideas. But finally what you have to think or take help from interior designer is about the theme of your home as this door should also get aligned with your house theme. In general having hallway as part of home theatre is not advised so if you can change it, it would be better. But if you can't then at least install auto closure.

Hello. As you rightly mentioned, there are lots of varieties of tiles available in the market today, including the wooden pattern ones. These designs are offered by almost all the leading tile companies. Well, the patterns/designs are usually on individual's preference, but a natural teak wood pattern would give a natural look as you requested. More than the designs of the tiles, the points that I would suggest to take care of before choosing a pattern is 1. It should not be too dark as it will make the room look smaller 2. It can have a decent amount of texture finish, but shouldn't be over board as it will be a hindrance to walk freely and also cleaning would be a pain. 3 The thickness of the tile, many good companies be of standard quality 4. Easy availability of the tile, in case you have to replace the broken tiles, they should be easily available. About matching the floor with your walls and ceiling, do not replicate what is on the floor (color/pattern), instead go for something lighter in shades (wallpapers or paints) for walls and for ceiling you can consider the wooden theme PVC panels, which are available in multiple colors.

@cornerstone design studio. how can this be mounted on concrete plastered walls. i have seen YouTube videos where they mount them on drywalls with the help of a nail gun. but not sure how can this be achieved on a concrete wall.

Hi Mr. Nitin, I am working as a Technical Sales engineer in one of Indian leading Acoustic Company. Everyday I receive minimum three calls for the same problems which you stated here. There two types of Sound transfer First is through Air borne like person Voice, speaker, sound horn. Second is through Structures like person knocking the door, neighbour people jumping the floor, elevator noise, etc. Yours problem comes under second type. This problem in ceiling concrete floor occurs due to lower steel usage and thickness of the concrete. The exact solution for this problem is to install the acoustic underlayment GETZNER AFM 23 under the Flooring tiles, which is specially designed for this kind of issue. But, it should be done during the construction stage of the building only. It can not be done after construction. If you use Acoustic panels and ceiling tiles, this products will reduce only the noise transferred though Air borne. So there is no solution reduction of this structural borne noise currently.
