As per your input, the bed back rest or the whole bed should be darker color ? the cupboard and the bed should be of the same leatherite color ? which color And the whole room should of which polish ?

I would go with something bold and bright. if it going to be laminate, make it fun like turquoise, or magenta or apple green. Then your gorgeous bed will be the star of the show. add a couple of items in the bedding that take that color and keep the rest of the bedding white. Usage of granite should only be in the dry areas as its slippery and kitchen is the place where you can never guarantees. If you have that type of working in the kitchen then you can think of using the stone. As a designer My personal suggestion will be not to use it in the kitchen.

Djhamu, Description is good but better post the pics. Color choices are extremely subjective. First option is to make your own choices: look at 1000s of pics mark/collect them, identify what is that you like and then use android apps to see how it looks on your actual walls. Go for a sample and then fall in love with it. Second option is to hire a professional who will understand you and help you select one.
