It's beautiful!! I love your colors and the little covered porch. I think it looks modern and clean with a clear nod to the history of the home. Great investment.

Is there a reason the stone doesn't wrap around to the side of the house?

Nice improvement - love the new color and the porch! The garage still looks a little stark - maybe add a pergola over it?

Thank you folks, for the positive and critical comments!

Budget, was the main reason that the suggestions you had, were not carried out YET!

We are thrilled with the colors and crispness of the results. More stone is an incredible expense and our house was totally sided. Not a cheap endeavor. Roof was also replaced and the shutters were just an outdated item for our new exterior.

We do plan on stoning the entire garage face in the spring.

Thanks again for all the comments!

Lovely changes . My mouth dropped when I read the comment about tearing down the garage divider and not having the single doors. I love my single garage doors both functionally and looks wise, think they are much more upscale than the double garage doors. Also allows more space between the cars.

Granted, thre are several other things we would have liked to do, but, it was not our intent to build a whole new house. $$$$$$$$

Love the porch and color. Our house is similar. We just sided with Hardie evening blue. Is that the color by chance?

Beautiful house transformation! I'm really enjoying blue houses these days -- such pretty shades of blue being used, and so refreshing after too many gray/beige residing jobs. Your home looks so fresh and stylish.

Hope you save your pennies and treat yourself to some pretty garage doors down the road. That would be a nice finishing touch.

Wonderful transformation. The roof extension over the front porch, works really well with the front of the house and ties everything together. Great color choices. Very rich and inviting! Well done!

The color is actually Natural Slate from Mastic. It's really a very dark gray. The alternative color pf choice was Very dark Brown, which my good friends just used on their house not too far down the street. We are really loving our choices!

I love this!!!!! I have been wanting to change our colonial white siding to a dark gray and stone for awhile. It updates the house so much. How much did you spend? What part of the country are you in?

We are in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We spent well over 40k.

Our entire house is sided, we also did a roof and a few windows.

The stone work was a large expense.

PlyGem product in Chardonnay, Shadow Ledgestone. We have to finish the garage when the extra $$$ come around.

So, I'm debating, painting the garage doors and front door a dark color. Black maybe? Any suggestions?

Bee, I think I would paint the garage doors the same color as the siding. I like it better without the shutters.
