Comments (21)Perhaps a large round table might mean a rug is not at all necessary. It could be a metal tray table, or carved wood like Rebecca Mitchell Interiors illustrates. Ideas also to consider, using multiple tables can be found at http://www.houzz.com/multiple-coffee-tables. I also agree with comments above that some color is needed on the walls. Comments (7)Hi, Considering your kitchen palette, we feel the wall between two cabinets is the ideal space for a chalkboard. You can have it either in the form of a full wall with a collage of empty frames (like decor) or a coloured framed chalkboard. Attaching few pinterest images for your reference And the wall behind the Dining table could be highlighted in a subtle wallpaper, a light wall paint, etc. to compliment the browns and whites used around.
